Meet the Designer
Cheyenne, or Chy for short, is a grad from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where they majored in Industrial Design and minored in Informatics. Their passion for design stems from their years in engineering where they discovered that they rather study why products are made than how they are made. They have a strong interest in concept design and accessible design, hoping to incorporate both into their career. Chy aspires to contribute to the new wave of diversity in media, including more Asian-focused stories and products that break out of the current molds. With a love of user research, they also enjoy meeting and talking to new people whenever possible. They are endlessly curious and thrive on new experiences and challenges. Chy is currently learning to use their skills in motion graphics and 3D modeling to expand into more AR/VR work. Chy also works in traditional mediums including paint, printmaking, textiles and sculpture. When they are not busy with design, they practice kickboxing, experiment with cooking and baking, and care for their garden.
